The Gunnison County real estate market saw an uptick in inventory in September when compared to last year at this time. Active listings increased by 8% YoY and months supply of inventory also increased by 9% YoY to 8.2 months. Homes moved quicker, spending an average of 116 days on market, a 25% decrease from 2023 and a decrease of 17% when compared to August. Demand was up slightly with pending listings increasing by 15% YoY to 39 listings.
The average prices of both single-family homes and condos rose both MoM and YoY, with condos experiencing the largest increase—a 36% jump YoY.
