The event kicked off with a lively opening ceremony in downtown Crested Butte, complete with live music, local food trucks, and a gear expo featuring the latest in fat bike technology. Riders of all skill levels, from seasoned pros to first-time racers, mingled with fans and vendors, sharing their love for this unique sport. The electric atmosphere is a testament to the inclusive and joyous nature of the fat biking community.
The racing action is nothing short of thrilling. Beyond the races, Fat Bike Worlds 2025 offered a range of activities for attendees. Group rides through Crested Butte’s scenic landscapes allowed visitors to explore the area’s natural beauty. Workshops on bike maintenance and winter riding techniques provided valuable insights for enthusiasts looking to enhance their skills. For $165, your registration will include the welcome party with free PBR on Friday, race registration, awards party and concert on Saturday with free Zuni beer, Zuni group ride on Sunday (more free beer) and a sweet reusable FBW bag with 10th Anniversary branded hat and buff for the first 250 registrants.
Additionally, a retro FBW leather flask will be given to the first 120 Championship race finishers!
