There’s also the Great Gatsby Casino night on Friday, offering games and lighthearted gambling, including a $500 Cash Prize Texas Holdem Tournament at the Center for the Arts in CB. And let’s not overlook Move the Butte, which wraps up the month with amazing local talent.
Recapping January’s Gunnison County Real Estate Market
New listings are on the rise compared to this time last year! With a whopping 87.5% increase, January welcomed 30 new listings, marking an impressive 87.5% increase over January 2023. Month over month increase was up 15.4% from December 2023, maintaining a strong 87.5% increase year-over-year
Demand is also up! Pending/Under Contract listings shot up by 115.4% from last month, reflecting a strong 47.4% increase year-over-year.
The average price for a single-family home surged to over $2M in January, marking a significant 99% increase from December and a 42.4% jump from last year.
Months supply of listings decreased to 5.6 months in January, showing a positive trend in market dynamics.
Percent of closed price to list price saw a slight increase to 96.1%, reflecting ongoing buyer interest and market competitiveness.
