In May, the Gunnison County real estate market saw an increase in supply when viewed both year-over-year and month-over-month. Sixty-six new listings came onto the market, a 69.2% increase from last month, which saw 39 new listings. Days on market increased to 157 days, on average. This was a 26.6% increase from last month and, coupled with flat month-over-month demand, helped bump up the months supply of inventory to 6.9 months. The average price for single family homes also jumped in May. This data point increased 73.2% year-over-year and was up 17.1% month-over-month. Last year at this time the average price for single family homes was $1,047,737.
